The world is changing. Not only because of COVD-19, but also because of earlier trends such as digitalization, climate change, generational differences, emerging economies becoming increasingly central in global power structures, and increasing global inequalities.

At the same time, while we put a strong focus on innovation in technology, business, and research, we fail to explore innovative formats and system redesign in governance. New approaches to governance are essential in providing solutions for the transformations to come, rather than generating unnecessary tensions.
The role of this session is to explore the types of change we could foresee in governance at both national and global levels by bringing together voices from key panelists that are engaged with areas of global transformation highlighted by The Global Summit this year.
